Geophysical investigation of brownfield sites – what can you reasonably expect?
The appropriate use of geophysical methods can significantly reduce the risks associated with development of brownfield sites. The presentation will include a brief overview of techniques, with an assessment of strengths and weaknesses. Case studies will demonstrate how the approach can deliver value in finding buried obstructions, voids, utilities and other features that have a detrimental effect on safety, programme and budget.
